Description
One popular Levantine dish consists of small maftoul granules or balls prepared from bulgur, white and brown flour prepared by hand at home, or bought ready-made. In some areas, it is called maftoul, in relation to the rounding of bulgur and flour balls, and in some in Moroccan, it refers to a connection with the Maghreb origin (couscous).
